It's been over two years since we launched DreamzAR's iOS app on the Apple App Store. The app offers multiple ways to design your yard—real-time design with augmented reality or 2D landscape design for offline planning. Starting with a photo of your yard, you can add garden design elements such as plants, shrubs, trees, and garden furniture like benches, as well as features like pergolas, arbors, and fountains. We introduced a generative AI tool—the AI Landscape Design Stylist—to the iOS app. With AI, you can effortlessly render inspiring new ideas for your yard by guiding the AI with prompts about your design concepts.
We have been receiving requests to bring this functionality to desktops—for obvious reasons. The larger screen space makes it much more convenient to carry out the design process. We have been working diligently to bring the entire DreamzAR experience to the web browser.
I'm pleased to announce the availability of the DreamzAR Online Landscape Design Service, which integrates seamlessly with existing AI Landscape Design Tools. You can now compose a landscape design by dragging and dropping plants from a catalog of over 2000 plants and collaborating with the AI tool to enhance your design.

Start A New Landscape Design Project
2D Landscape Design Editor
When you start a new project, you are asked to select a photo from your device. Choose a yard photo that shows most of your yard, avoiding as much of the home's exterior walls or fences as possible. The more yard area we have in the photo, the better our designs will look.
With the 2D landscape design editor, you can:
Browse or search the plant catalog and pick the plants you like.
Place the plants on the yard photo and move them around to find a good spot.
Edits:
Make copies of the plant and place them on the yard photo.
Delete plants you don't want.
Redo and Undo features allow you to correct previous actions.
Switch to "Enhance With AI" mode to augment your design with AI-generated landscaping ideas (we will cover this aspect shortly).
A Plant database of over 2000 Plants
DreamzAR has a catalog of over 2000 plants from across the regions of the world. There are total 17 collections.
North America - USA East, USA West, USA Southwest, USA Conifers
Global - Africa, Asia, Oceania, Tropical, Japan, Mediterranean,
Special collections - Flowers, Blossoms, Autumn (foliage), Fruits, Shrubs
Many of the plants have 3 different versions - small, medium and adult so that you can choose plants in your design to visualize their mature size in your yard.

Enhance With AI
If you need help with your design, you can switch to "Enhance With AI" mode. In this mode, you can augment your design with AI-generated landscape design ideas. You can guide the AI to place new ideas on a specific yard area by highlighting it.
Highlight the specific yard area using the brush tool. You can draw around the plants you placed in the previous step. You can undo the brush strokes or clear the drawing to start fresh.
AI Landscape Design Options
After you have highlighted the yard area, you can simply tap the "Generate Designs" button to see what AI can do for you. It will generate new designs overlaid on top of the yard photo. You can customize them further using dropdown menus for yard type, garden type, plants, and flower collections, etc. You can also direct it to include hardscaping like paved walkways or driveways. (Coming soon: We will add an option to describe your ideas in simple English text prompts.)

Explore a variety of landscaping ideas by generating a few designs with your preferred settings. Select a few other options and generate additional designs. Review the generated designs to see which ones you like and generate more with similar choices.
